Cadillac is a division of General Motors Company (GM) that markets luxury vehicles worldwide. Cadillac is known for its prestige, power, and luxury. It was established in 1902 by Henry Leland. He named it after Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, his ancestor and founder of Detroit. Cadillac’s aim since the beginning is precision engineering and stylish luxury finishes. Cadillac was the first volume manufacturer of a fully enclosed car. It was also the first automobile manufacturer to incorporate an electrical system enabling starting, ignition, and lighting. Today, Cadillac’s range of cars and trucks consists of the CTS, and CTS Sport Wagon each offering a high-performance V-Series variant.
